Do you have an idea for a Blackboard Building Blocks Tool that you'd like to see someone develop as Open Source? If so, post your suggestion to the WishList, and maybe it will happen! Below is the current wishlist.

Appointment Scheduler
We'd like an appointment scheduler that allows an instructor or TA to post available times for appointments, and which would then allow students to sign up for the various times.

Quiz Detail Item Responses
I need a plug-in that does the following: For a given assessment, it will produce a list that shows the detail item responses. That is user A answered question 1 correctly, question 2 incorrectly, etc. user B answered question 1 incorrectly, and question 2 correctly, etc.

instead of course copying, i'd like to have symlinks between course materials so that our disk usage won't get eaten up so fast when someone copies a 100MB course 5 times

Merge Course/Consolidate Course Tool
A faculty tool allowing them to merge several "sections" courses into 1 course. For example, taking all users from 5 different courses and putting them together in 1 course to manage.

Digital Dropbox Email Notification
When a student submits an assignment to the digital dropbox it activates an email sent notifying either the instructor, TA or other designated individual of the submission.
